Among sea trout fishermen, E.V. Trutta spoon is above all others. The spoon has been developed by one of the most valued Finnish lure craftsmen, Erkki Virolainen. The hand-made lure consists of a metallic core with molded-in wire. The core is placed in a mold and hard plastic is molded over to create an unbreakable body with lighter material on top. Lure is hand painted and lacquered several times. The result is a totally unique bait. Especially when stopping the retrieve, Trutta’s sinking action in its unique hovering way has proved to be simply impossible for trout to resist. E.V. Trutta is individually hand painted in Finland.
