Isokynä is made of solid aluminum and is therefore a true specialty for shallow waters. Its swimming motion can be seasoned with sudden jerks of the rod and abrupt retrieve. To this the lure reacts with long slides and quick turns to sides. When the rod is jerked, the lure makes a long and tempting slide. Isokynä casts far and is accurate, as long as one remembers to leave 25 cm of line in between the tip of the rod and the lure. Developed especially for the vast shores of Gotland, but works spectacularly also at all sea trout waters.
